Anne Brown NDIS Plan Manager

Plan management is a type of disability service funded through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). The overarching function of plan management is to assist and support NDIS participants to manage their NDIS plan funding.

Plan management can support participants by:

  • managing and monitoring a participant’s budget
  • managing a participant’s NDIS claims and disbursing funds to providers for services delivered
  • providing regular statements to a participant to show the financial status of their plan including prompt notification of over or under utilisation
  • offering increased choice and control to a participant over plan implementation and utilisation through additional plan financial assistance.

Participants can also receive advice from plan management providers about how to best utilise their NDIS plan funding which can assist in building a participant’s financial capacity and knowledge.

As a NDIS Plan Manager, I receive and pay all valid and approved invoices within NDIS guidelines. I provide you with a monthly statement showing where your NDIS funding has been spent.

As a Plan Manager I do have a role in monitoring invoices, so if an invoice comes in charging rates above the NDIS price guide rate, I will liaise with the provider and my client to clarify that the invoice has been submitted correctly and advise on the price guide limits. Similarly, there are some things that the NDIS funding cannot be used for, e.g house renovations, I would help you understand why you can’t claim these from NDIS.

As a NDIS Plan Manager, I’m paid by NDIS, my fees are added to your plan so you need not worry about spending you precious funding on my services.
